What Are Catalogues?
Catalogues hold the blueprints for registering items on MIMOSI when they come into inventory.
For an item to be registered on MIMOSI, there must be a matching catalogue description associated with it. Specifying catalogue items enable a company to identify which of its inventory items are to be tracked.
Each company will have a MIMOSI catalogue describing its products with certain pre-set properties (attributes), such as a unique catalogue # for each product, product name, price, and whether the product/item is to be individually tracked, lot tracked or tracked as a single bulk item.
You cannot change the item category of an item when creating it from a catalogue, you must change it in the catalogue.
How Do I Create A Catalogue?
You can create a catalogue by selecting the [Setup] feature from the sidebar, and then selecting [Catalogue Items]. Select the green [+ Create Catalogue Item] button in the top right corner. You will then be prompted to fill in all the details of each catalogue item you wish to make. You can add custom fields that are not already there with the [Add Custom Fields] button. When you’re done hit the [Submit] button at the bottom right to finalize the catalogue item.
How do I Edit or Delete A Catalogue?
You can edit or delete a catalogue by clicking the [Select Action] button on the catalogue list page by the catalogue item you wish to edit or delete.
